Scenic Road Cracks



mapa por Bajadock   Federal Roads and Bridges (Capufe) continues to invest in repairs on the scenic road Tijuana-Ensenada now in the area where, in January, highway users reported new cracks.

In the Official Journal of the Federation (DOF) on Thursday published two public tenders whose works will be implemented with funds from the National Infrastructure Fund (Fonadin).

The first call indicates that stabilization work of the technical emergency room at km 94 + 000 of the Tijuana highway made – Ensenada, that is 500 meters from the previous slide in December 2013, the repair for this section consist of batteries stabilizers, anti-roll trenches, drainage tunnel, highway berms and reconfiguration.

The work to be carried out at kilometer 95 + 000 96 + 000, the second call, are practically the same, stabilizing the technical emergency room consisting of stabilizing cells, stabilizing trenches, drainage ditches, stabilizer well, wells Ranney , injections and reconfiguration of highway embankment.

The next May 30 at 10:00 hours the meeting between interested companies and Capufe, just where will take place the restorations, while the ruling will be published on Wednesday, June 8 will be held.

It will be recalled on December 28, 2013 a section of the Scenic kilometer 93 + 500 of the same road collapsed and a year later reopened the road.

Repairs made passing the repaired portion towards the booth San Miguel.  It is not specified which corresponds to which lane tender or the amount to be invested in this new intervention in the stage.
