TIJUANA BC 23 JANUARY 2016 (AFN) .- The Municipal Police discovered yesterday in less than eight hours, two cases of “blind mule” involving 11 packages with marijuana, suspected had been attached to vehicles to be carried US territory without that drivers would realize that they were “loaded”.

The SSPM reported that this is the first two cases of what is known as “mules blind” this year, and last year the Municipal Police attended 12 cases, three more than in 2014.
According to the report, around 03:00 hours, commissioned officers in the district La Mesa found nine packets lying in the street, in the division Las Palmas; and to inspect they found containing the herb, and each had four magnets to be attached to the chassis of a vehicle.
This cargo carried a cell phone programmed to be located when reached its destination, it was reported, used to track the vehicle.
Otherwise, around 09:30 hours, local police district San Antonio de los Buenos they found two rectangular packages, also with marijuana, Jardines colony abandoned in Ruby.
One had eight embedded magnets and the other six; and the 11 packages were sent by the municipal judge to the competent authorities, the SSPM reported
