Hill Intervals Week 3


This hill workout is located on the road from Colonia Puerto Escondido down to the hidden beach in Punta Banda, south of Ensenada.  This “ramp” is a 19% grade with 249 feet of vertical climb in just under 1/4 mile distance.

Did 10 repeat intervals and hit the wall at interval #8, ouch.  Enjoyed the pain of the last two climbs plus 300 more feet of climbing to get back home.  Total vertical climb this day was 2,849 feet, just over 1/2 mile.

June has been a very solid training month.  Had a breakthrough in performance, metabolism and body fat % last week.  Will I maintain this consistent effort?
