Foto de la Semana: Chapultepec Hill Ensenada

My photo from Saturday morning’s hike up Chapultepec Hill takes in the panoramic views of downtown Ensenada.  This is a fun spot to take in the city.  Unfortunately, what should be a beautiful park has become a trash bin.   These views help keep my eyes away from the Coke and Tecate bottles.

Same spot, view is southwest to Punta Banda.  My neighborhood, center of photo on horizon, is a 10 mile swim away.

If you have a break in your visit to Ensenada, take a light picnic, blanket and camera up Calle Segunda to this hill.  It’s 350 feet above sea level and only .6 miles from Hussong’s Cantina.  Sunsets are spectacular from here.  This was a 10:30am shot and I’ll come back for a sunset photo soon.

I think I could easily live on oysters on the half shell. (especially since you don’t find many po’ boys down this way) Maybe after we move and we are heading down to Ensenada to explore, we can share a lunch or a beverage.

M, the oysters here are amazing. My niece is here so we’ll explore Ensenada seafood all day tomorrow.

Please pester me when you get to ‘Nada. CHEERS
